The Moulin Rouge was established in 1889, the Moulin Rouge opened its doors with an audacious notion that it would become the largest and most luxurious cabaret of its time. A successful bet for this famous cabaret which became the Mecca of the party immortalized by the famous painter Toulouse-Lautrec, birthplace of the Music-Hall and world-famous thanks to its French Cancan, still performed today by the famous Doriss Girls.

The troupe of 60 artists from all around the world perform twice every evening in the show Féerie, a spectacular show full of feathers, Swarovski Crystals and sequins, with sumptuous settings unique international attractions and original music in the grand tradition of French Music-Hall. For 126 years, the most legendary cabaret in the world has welcomed millions of spectators who have come to admire its famous shows and the most beautiful dancers in the world!

The Moulin Rouge confirmed their landmark voyage to the United States, as a part of this year’s BEST OF FRANCE celebration in Time Square, took place on September 26, 2015 from 10:00am to 8:00pm and September 27, 2015 from 10:00am-7:00pm. Organized by the New York French Community in partnership with many prominent organizations, this third edition of BEST OF FRANCE, formerly known as Taste of France. “A Taste of Moulin Rouge” was brought to New York City for the first time in 126 years, highlighting all of the glamour and relation that is a part of the French staple’s rich history. During their short time in NYC, the Moulin Rouge dancers wanted to make appearances at New York City’s most well-known landmarks such as the Statue of Liberty, The Empire State Building and Times Square and really fill their time with media segments to grab attention. The Moulin Rouge needed a PR Agency with elite New York City media connections for morning show appearances, general PR prior to the event and US PR during the BEST OF FRANCE event weekend.

On site Beautiful Planning Marketing & PR managed the enclave of media that came with The Moulin Rouge being photographed with French President François Hollande. The entire 3 month campaign for the legendary Moulin Rouge garnered over $2.2 million worth media attention. With thousands of Best of France attendees, an estimated 5,000 people per day flocked to NYC just to see the free Times Square scheduled Cabaret performances and fashion show.
